Alex Theatre The Ratkovich Company was selected by the Glendale Redevelopment Agency for restoration of the historic Alex located in the center of downtown Glendale. The Art Deco theatre, built in 1925 as a movie palace and known for its 100-foot tower, now seats 1,460 and is fully renovated as a performing arts center.
