Michael Heimos is the Property Manager at The Hercules Campus at Playa Vista, a 530,000 square foot project consisting of eleven nationally registered historic landmark buildings incorporating the former Howard Hughes offices and the 365,000 square foot hangar in which the “Spruce Goose” was built and soon to be home to YouTube’s expansion in the Playa Vista area.

Michael is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the twenty-eight acre campus and studio. Michael's experience has been on the Studio Operations side of entertainment companies. He started with Dream Quest Images, a visual effects company, before moving to the Walt Disney Company, where he worked as Director of Studio Operations. He was stolen away by premier visual effects company, Digital Domain, where he spent eight years, before joining DreamWorks as Director of Studio Operations. While there, he was responsible for the operations of their 330,000 square foot Animation Campus located in Glendale, CA, and oversaw construction and tenant improvements of several of the buildings on the campus.

Michael served on the Board of Directors of the Glendale Transportation Management Association. He was awarded Advisory Board Member of the Year, and the Crisis Management Leadership Award, both at the Walt Disney Company. Michael originally hails from St. Louis, Missouri, and now lives in Los Angeles with his fiancé, André.

Favorite TRC Project: The Hercules Campus, of course! It's such a remarkable transformation of the historic Hughes Aircraft Buildings, into modern, reimagined, and vibrant creative spaces for our ĂĽber talented tenants, all nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Playa Vista community.

Favorite City: New York. There's an energy there that you cannot get anywhere else in the world.

Favorite Cause: The Trevor Project. The leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
