SHAWNA BYRNES, DEVELOPMENT MANAGER/PROPERTY MANAGER

Shawna Byrnes joined The Ratkovich Company in the fall of 2003 as a Property Assistant at The Alhambra after earning her BA in Classical Civilizations with a minor in Archeology from Loyola Marymount University. She was promoted to Assistant Property Manager at Orange Grove Circle in 2005, and again to Assistant Accounting Manager-Assistant Property Manager in 2007 at 5900 Wilshire. In 2010, Shawna returned to where it all began, The Alhambra, as the Assistant Development Manager- Operations Manager.

Mostly recently, Shawna wo-mans the helm at 5900 as the Development Manager-Property Manager where she has yet to shake the hyphenated title. In that position, Shawna’s responsibilities include the management of leasing, development, financing, marketing, operations and oversight of the property management team.

Ms. Byrnes holds her Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Favorite TRC project: Orange Grove Circle. Beginning my career at this residential project fostered a foundation of customer service that has been invaluable for future projects.

Favorite City: Los Angeles. No other city can deliver the arts, culture, diversity and climate that my hometown of Los Angeles can offer.

Favorite Cause: The Ratkovich Company’s DevelopMore program. DevelopMore encourages TRC employees to take a leadership role in community based volunteering opportunities.
