FINE ARTS BUILDING in LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

The 13-story Fine Arts Building, originally built in 1928 as studios and galleries for downtown artists, was fully restored as a premier office building with ground floor retail uses adjacent to the building’s dramatic lobby. The Fine Arts Building is a Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Monument and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was the home of the Seventh Street Bistro, Joachim Splichal’s first public restaurant in Los Angeles, and is now the home of Ciao Restaurant.
