THE SHOPS AT THE ALHAMBRA

On the 7.5 acres directed across Fremont from the main campus of The Alhambra, the Company developed The Shops at The Alhambra. When acquired, the property was industrial zoned and the company took the property through a zone change to allow for retail development. A plan was unanimously approved by the City for a 120,000 square foot retail center on the site. Approximately 5.5 acres were sold to Kohl’s Department Store for a two-story 100,000 square foot store and the Company developed the remaining two acres with an 18,000 square foot retail center 100% leased to Starbuck, Jamba Juice, Subway and others centered around a street facing plaza.

The Company’s institutional partner during development was CIGNA Insurance and its current partner is AIG Global Real Estate.
