Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising The Ratkovich Company, on behalf of the Fashion Institute of Design & (also known as FIDM), managed the development of the school’s new downtown campus and corporate headquarters in the late 1980’s. Designed by the Jerde Partnership, the 5-story 285,000 square foot building is located in the South Park District of downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to Grand Hope Park.
