Fine Arts Building The 13-story Fine Arts Building, originally built in 1928 as studios and galleries for downtown artists, was fully restored as a premier office building with ground floor retail uses adjacent to the building’s dramatic lobby. The Fine Arts Building is a Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Monument and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
