Law Firm Inks $8 Million Lease at 800 Wilshire
December 4, 2006
The Ratkovich Company recently announced that the longest tenured tenant at their 800 Wilshire office building has signed a new 12-year lease, valued at approximately $8 million. The law firm Clark & Trevithick, which has leased space in the boutique Class A building since 1974, has liked what they've seen since TRC bought the property in 2004. "It's not outdated like some of the buildings here," said Kevin Fiore, a partner at Clark & Trevithick. According to Javier Rivera, development manager for 800 Wilshire, TRC has invested some major TLC in the building, including more than a million dollars of renovations to the main lobby, the parking levels and signage. Most importantly, Rivera said, TRC has its own offices in the edifice so "tenants see us in the elevator." The 12-year lease, which starts in 2007, will expand the law firm's holdings on the 12th and 13th floors from 18,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet.
